Ich bin Simon Griebel. Meine Leidenschaft für die Fotografie wurde auf frühen Reisen nach Island, Südafrika und auf die Kanarischen Inseln mit etwa14 Jahren geweckt, wo ich meine ersten Beobachtungen mit der eigenen Kamera festgehalten habe. Was als jugendliches Hobby begann, entwickelte sich schnell zu einer tiefen Faszination, die während der Corona-Pandemie eine neue, prägende Richtung einschlug: Seitdem widme ich fast jede freie Minute der heimischen Tierwelt in Bayern und Europa.
Mein Fokus liegt auf Vögeln, Säugetieren und ganz besonders auf Eulen. Mit viel Geduld fange ich sowohl die Dynamik schneller Actionmomente als auch die geheimnisvolle Stimmung der Dämmerung ein, um Augenblicke im Verborgenen sichtbar zu machen, die dem menschlichen Auge sonst oft entgehen.
Neben der unberührten Natur fasziniert mich das Spiel mit Licht auch in anderen Bereichen: Auf Anfrage begleite ich leidenschaftlich gerne Konzerte oder setze hochwertige Produkte kreativ in Szene. Ob die unvorhersehbare Dynamik auf der Bühne oder das präzise Inszenieren im Studio – für mich geht es immer darum, den perfekten Moment festzuhalten.
I am Simon Griebel. My passion for photography was sparked at around 14 years old during early travels to Iceland, South Africa, and the Canary Islands, where I captured my very first observations with my own camera. What began as a teenage hobby quickly evolved into a deep fascination that took on a new, definitive direction during the COVID-19 pandemic: Since then, I have dedicated almost every spare minute to the native wildlife of Bavaria and Europe.
My main focus is on birds, mammals, and especially owls. With a great deal of patience, I capture both the energy of fast-paced action moments and the mysterious atmosphere of twilight, bringing to light hidden moments that usually escape the human eye.
Beyond pristine nature, I am also fascinated by the play of light in other fields: Upon request, I passionately document live concerts or creatively showcase high-quality products. Whether it is the unpredictable energy on stage or the precision of studio staging—for me, it is always about capturing the perfect moment.
